The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior Systems Administrator, planning and coordinating the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems in support of IT policy and plans for classified compartmented communications and information systems.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a Senior Information Technology Specialist (Systems Administrator) responsible for the lifecycle management, planning, and installation of complex multi-OS environments, including UNIX, LINUX, VMS, Solaris, and Windows.
- →Establishes comprehensive operational instructions for system components to ensure compliance with 53d Wing policy and mission-specific guidance.
- →Serves as a senior technical advisor to management and a key member of committees and projects focused on enhancing Operational Test (OT) information technology.
- →Maintain liaison with manufacturers, professional organizations, and counterparts at other installations and services regarding available products and state-of-the-art technologies and advancements.
