The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a senior systems administrator with responsibility for planning and coordinating the installation, testing, modifying, upgrading, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
What You'll Do
- →DUTY 1: Performs services as a Senior JWICS Systems Administrator.
- →Plans, coordinates, and installs applications software and hardware for operating systems.
- →DUTY 2: Serves as a Senior Technical Advisor to management.
- →As a senior systems administrator, participates in the preparation of system upgrades and synchronization for USAFE.
- →DUTY 3: Keeps abreast of emerging technology to predict future system architecture.
- →Maintains awareness of emerging information technology, cybersecurity, and systems administration trends relevant to classified intelligence environments to anticipate future AFSCI system architecture, capacity, and performance requirements.
- →DUTY 4: Establishes Plans of Action (POAs) for improving the efficiency of IT applications.
- →Evaluates existing systems and capabilities and initiates feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses to determine ways and means necessary to enhance mission performance.
