About the Role
This position is located at the VA Medical Center in Battle Creek, MI. The Information Receptionist will work independently and self directed.
What You'll Do
- →***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Exhibit exceptional customer service by showing understanding, friendliness, courtesy and tact.
- →Provides direction in the registration, clearances, and discharge process Distributes linen as require, pajamas, robes, slippers, towels, personal items Provides support to assigned area when there are no lodgers, according to limitations.
- →Provides support by being and "extra eye" for environmental, medical and psychiatric safety concerns and making contact to proper resource for resolution.
- →Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
