What You'll Do
- →You will serve as oversight to project/program engineers and program analysts and provides novel, complex, and unique management and operations assignments.
- →You will utilize an engineering approach to management and operational problems, employee advises management and/or production officials on systems and procedures.
- →You will serve as a principal point of contact for production and maintenance resource requirements planning and inventory control and coordination of integrated logistics support planning.
- →You will conduct studies of contractors' capabilities to produce critical products required by SWFLANT.
- →You will develop, implement, analyze, and monitor a variety of management information systems, utilizing program-unique systems and generic business applications.
- →You will participate in or directs the development of technical directives delineating methods and processes for the efficient and economical production.
- →You will ensure all manufacturing/production planning and management issues are addressed and participates in program reviews of SWFLANT contract facilities.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Successful completion of a professional engineering degree.
- ✓Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
- ✓OR Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

- ✓OR Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A (above).
- ✓Ordinarily, there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.
