About the Role

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! What You'll Do

  • Applies a standard body of Human Resources knowledge, rules, and procedures to perform technical support work in the areas of staffing, benefits, and background checks.
  • Assignments include but are not limited to keying new hires, providing information on and processing benefits, conducting employee benefits briefs for new and departing employees, employee out-processing, gathering facts involving routine HR work in the above specialty areas, initiating suitability adjudications, and processing personnel actions.
  • Reviews HR and organizational documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state and organizational legal and policy requirements.
  • May assist in writing, revising, updating, and preparing personnel procedures and directives, special reports and correspondence.
  • Generates standard reports as needed and on a scheduled basis.
  • Develops databases and spreadsheets to automate office procedures.
  • Makes recommendations for systems solutions and process improvements to eliminate manual processing, ensure data accuracy and improve reporting methods.
  • Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.
  • Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.
  • Takes action to solve problems quickly.
  • Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.
  • Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
  • Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.
  • Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
