Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! What You'll Do

  • NF3: The incumbent provides information to employees on Group Health, Dental & Life Insurance, 401(K) Savings Plan, Group Retirement Plan, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Leave Donations, and Employee Performance and Length of Service Awards Program.
  • Maintains a high degree of contact with employees and provides advice and assistance to employees regarding onboarding, offboarding, transfer of employee.
  • Conducts research and identifies and explains benefit or pay related issues.
  • Conducts orientation classes and Qualifying Life Event, Offboarding, or retirement briefings.
  • Reviews related rules, regulations, and internal instructions for comments.
  • Explain rules and regulations to employees pertaining to assigned functions.
  • NF4::Performs the same NF-03 duties in addition to the following: Uses statistical methods to collect, compile and present numerical personnel data.
  • Uses general knowledge of the personnel specialty areas to determine how to best obtain required data, identify how errors could arise in reporting and gathering data, when bias in information exists, whether coverage is adequate, and what trends exist.
  • Assembles and compiles statistical reports dealing with manpower utilization, status of work projects, cost of operations and similar information.
  • May post information from PeopleSoft report formats to various documentation.
  • Recognizes significant changes from past reports.
  • Checks change with sources of information to verify accuracy of data.
  • Reviews, edits and drafts Marine Corps-wide policies, directives, instructions, impacting NAF bargaining unit employees; reviews, edits or drafts plans and procedures for new programs or changes to existing programs in the form of Marine Corps Orders, Letter of Instructions, and/or MARADMINs.
  • Provides comments and recommendations which assure the needs of the Marine Corps are fully expressed.
