What You'll Do
- →Utilize a wide range of human resources practices, regulations, and precedents to assist in providing human resources advisory and technical services on organizational functions and work practices.
- →Serves as the first point of contact for employees and supervisors seeking information on routine, non-precedent-setting labor management and employee relations (LMER) rules, procedures, and rights.
- →Assist senior specialists by gathering, organizing, and analyzing documentation, evidence, and timelines for basic employee relations cases (e.g., performance issues, attendance problems, and minor misconduct).
- →Conduct a wide range of negotiation procedures and techniques, advocacy, mediation, interest-based bargaining, and other problem-solving approaches to resolve problems.
- →Receives, logs, and performs initial administrative reviews of formal and informal grievances, unfair labor practice (ULP) charges, and labor relations requests.
