About the Role
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the USFF HR SERVICES BRANCH (CODE 1102.6) of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for administering, planning, developing and carrying out the full range of duties regarding the functional areas of Employee Benefits, Workforce Development, Performance Management and Leave Administration.
- →You will review, analyze, and interpret injury compensation standards established by Congress and Dept. of Labor.
- →You will administer the Leave Administration Program in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, instructions and guidance.
- →You will monitor and report progress of work and conveys team findings and recommendations to Supervisor.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Education for GS-11 position: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
