You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT/CLASSIFICATION) in the Human Capital Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
What You'll Do
- →You will work with the management to design, develop, implement and track both activity and HR strategic/business plans to recruit, develop, and retain the talent needed to accomplish the assigned mission.
- →You will review past recruitment practices and local labor market conditions to advise on future staffing strategies.
- →You will provide strategic recruitment advisory services (i.e., determining the where, how and means to find talent) to management officials.
- →You will apply a thorough understanding of classification principles and concepts to interpret and apply classification standards/guides to reach sound classification decisions.
- →You will analyze, develop, and administer organizational design and position management to enhance the efficiency and performance of organizations.
- →You will solve human resources problems that cross multiple program lines (e.g., recruitment, classification, compensation, staffing, etc.).
- →You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓GS-11 In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
