About the Role
This position is being filled under a stream-lined hiring authority, Title 21 of the United States Code (21 US Code 379d-3a) as amended by the 21st Century Cures Act of 2016, section 3072 and the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, Section 3624. The candidate selected for this position will serve under a career or career-conditional appointment and be paid under the provisions of this authority. This position is being recruited based on the Title 21 Pay Table 7, Band B (GS-12 equivalent).
What You'll Do
- →Provides a full range of internal and external placement duties including recruitment and placement activities.
- →Utilizes automated staffing systems, such as Web-based applications, to perform internal staffing and placement work that includes generating job analyses, vacancy announcements, and referral lists.
- →Provides guidance to managers and applicants, providing information concerning the agency Merit Promotion program.
- →Provides a variety of management consulting and advisory services to highly complex and dynamic organizations having a wide variety of difficult positions and personnel actions, which are often sensitive.
- →Provides managers and employees with information and interpretations of the agency's compensation, wage administration (general schedule (GS) and administratively determined (AD)), and position procedures, practices, policies, and guidelines.
- →Researches and analyzes employee records, case files, etc. to resolve issues, provide detailed documentation and/or prepare responses to inquiries concerning any aspect of the recruitment and placement process or program and to ensure compliance with Agency and OPM policy and regulatory requirements.
