About the Role
This position is being filled under a stream-lined hiring authority, Title 21 of the United States Code (21 US Code 379d-3a) as amended by the 21st Century Cures Act of 2016, section 3072 and the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, Section 3624. The candidate selected for this position will serve under a career or career-conditional appointment and be paid under the provisions of this authority. This position is being recruited based on the Title 21 Pay Table 7, Band C (GS-13 equivalent).
What You'll Do
- →Provides a full range of internal placement duties, including special recruitment and placement activities.
- →Provides a full range of external placement and recruitment duties for a large, multi-mission, or complex organization for which innovative and assertive recruiting strategies are needed.
- →Serves as a subject matter expert on executive resources programs and actions, providing advisory and technical services for Senior Executive Service (SES), Senior Level (SL), Scientific and Professional (ST), and Senior Biomedical Research and Biomedical Product Assessment Service (SBRBPAS) positions.
- →Provides the full spectrum of management consulting and advisory services to highly complex and dynamic organizations with a wide variety of difficult positions and personnel actions, which are often sensitive.
- →Coordinating SES and executive-level vacancy announcements through USA Staffing or other authorized systems; managing applicant evaluation panels, Qualifications Review Board (QRB) submissions, and certification processes in accordance with 5 CFR Part 317 and applicable OPM guidance.
- →Provides managers, employees, and job applicants with information and interpretations of the agency's recruitment and placement procedures, practices, policies, and guidelines.
