What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a Senior Human Resources Management Specialist, performing duties in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Human Resources Office.
- →You will apply a wide variety of HR laws, regulations, policies, and concepts including recruitment, staffing, classification, and position management principles.
- →You will develop and implement recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
- →You will advise managers on staffing options, hiring flexibility, pay setting, promotions, and other compensation-related matters.
- →You will introduce and/or implement innovative approaches to resolve unusual or difficult issues significantly impacting important policies or programs.
- →You will prepare and present briefings to provide status updates, identify potential problem areas, and to present findings, recommendations, and results of studies, analyses, and special projects.
- →You will prepare and present briefings on study findings, recommendations, and project status, negotiate management acceptance of proposals, and serve as a resident expert and consultant on recruitment and placement programs.
- →You will lead or participate in various workforce programs, developing and delivering briefings, reports, and correspondence.
