The position is in the US Department of Agriculture, Departmental Administration, Office of Human Resources Management, Human Resources Enterprise Systems Management Division which manages the strategic alignment of enterprise systems to support the HR business strategy. The incumbent provides program management oversight for HR information systems deployed throughout USDA. This is a 1 year detail/temporary promotion. This assignment may end earlier or be extended based on the manager's needs.
What You'll Do
- →Provides program management oversight to include planning, testing, training, monitoring, tracking, delivery, and implementation of USDA HR Information Systems (HRIS) (e.g.
- →NFC EmpowHR, USAStaffing/Onboarding, Time and Attendance and (continued from above) ER/LR Information Systems, eOPF, SF-52/ PAR Tracking, Performance Management, Pay/Leave/Benefits/Employee History, HR Robotics Process Automation, Human Capital Data, Government Retirement Benefits Platform/OPM ORA etc.).
- →Serves as project manager for implementation and support of HRIS projects including project planning; resolving complex, integrated HRIS issues; recommending creative solutions; and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.
- →Leads HRIS user groups to support enterprise-wide HR information systems.
- →Fosters USDA HRIS collaborations across Agencies and Mission Areas through ongoing collaboration, communication, and training.
- →Manages HRIS maintenance processes including reviewing, testing, implementing, and communicating upgrades and patches.
- →Documents processes and results.
- →Governs the process for enterprise system enhancements.
- →Manages the interconnectivity of systems.
Requirements
