About the Role
Human Resources Specialist (Human Resources Development) designs and manages programs associated with organizational and individual learning and career progression programs with direction from the Deputy Human Resources Center (HRC) Director (Training, Quality Assurance, & Data Analytics) and The Training, Quality Assurance, & Data Analytics Training Chief based on the needs of the staff and functional officials.
What You'll Do
- →Specific duties include: Designs and manages programs associated with organizational and individual learning and career progression programs.
- →Reviews and analyzes new policies, directives, and decisions that affect HR training and leader development programs.
- →Develops or recommends organizational teaching tools, flexible training programs, and mechanisms directed at career development.
- →Assesses new missions, priorities, and changes in work methods as they affect the civilian and military competency needs and competency development, to include intern/developmental programs, long term training or specialized training program requirements.
- →Develops planned and systematic studies to determine the immediate and long-range training and development needs of the agency gap analysis of the required workforce.
- →Analyzes workforce data to evaluate future workforce training and leadership development requirements as well as transformation initiatives.
- →Designs training and development surveys to assist in determining training and development needs for HR personnel.
- →Identifies costs associated with various special hiring programs.
- →Prepares costing for proposals to meet identified training needs.
- →Advises supervisors and managers on Employee Individual Development Plans (IDP).
- →Provides overall analysis on completion and effectiveness of training.
- →Provides leadership, assistance, and technical guidance to all levels of management in evaluating the training process and training results.
- →Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, hours to be determined by hiring office.
- →Compressed/Flexible: Available.
Requirements
