What You'll Do
- →At the full performance level, you will provide a variety of human resources (HR) management services in two or more of the following functional areas: recruitment and placement, position classification, employee relations and performance management, employee benefits, compensation, and human resources development.
- →If selected, you will receive formal and/or on-the-job training as needed.
- →Duties include: Performing position analysis to determine organizational requirements.
- →Conduct staffing and recruitment activities to include developing and posting job announcements.
- →Drafting job or position descriptions, Reviewing applications and applying qualification standards.
- →Issuing Certificates and setting up interviews for qualified applicants Providing advice and assistance on performance management.
- →Delivering assistance in the administration of benefits programs.
- →Administering guidance on pay and leave.
- →Provides advice and assistance with the performance management system.
- →Identifying training and development needs.
- →Managing and maintaining official personnel records and files.
- →Processing and reviewing personnel actions.
- →Conducting orientation and onboarding.
- →Conducting evaluations of human resource program operations.
Requirements
- ✓All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education.
- ✓For a list of schools that meet this criteria, see http://www.ed.gov OR Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above education requirements if you can show that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
- ✓It is your responsibility to timely provide such evidence by submitting proof of creditability of education as evaluated by a credentialing agency with your application materials.
