About the Role
This position is part of the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer, Department of Energy. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will independently lead complex, sensitive projects for senior Department officials, applying expert personnel management and deep HR program knowledge to plan, conduct, and integrate Department-wide initiatives.

- →Veterans shape the future of energy As a Human Resources Specialist, you will: Develop human resources policies and strategies to ensure Department-wide compliance with Federal statutes, Executive Orders, and judicial decisions.
- →Provide expert HR guidance on issues to support stakeholders in resolving matters related to HR program areas.
- →Analyze proposed legislation and regulations to shape agency positions and support effective Departmental personnel management.
- →Represent the Department at interagency engagements to share information and support consistent implementation of policy updates and best practices across the organization.
- →Administer agency-level HC-related programs ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory expectations.
