You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (COMP/CLASS) in the Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) Headquarters, HR Policy and Programs Department (Code 01), at the Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC. What You'll Do
- →You will prepare new compensation and classification policies, plans, programs and guidance for the organization.
- →You will formulate program objectives, develop program policy, and conducts comprehensive analyses of pay and compensation practices and classification to ensure their conformance with federal regulations.
- →You will identify the need for new or revised statutory or regulatory compensation and classification policies or guidance covering all employees within the organization.
- →You will provide technical compensation expertise formulation and development of strategic planning and lead the analysis and assessment of compensation and pay trends using qualitative and quantitative program indicators.
- →You will monitor program effectiveness and identifies possible program improvements and will work with officials to advocate legislation to enhance compensation and pay administration programs.
- →You will promote process improvement and program reengineering at all organization levels and explore opportunities for modernization and automation of functional operations in support of future needs.
