You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION) in the Fleet Human Resources Office Norfolk Naval Shipyard of FLEET HRO NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will prepare and/or review position and job descriptions, conduct desk audits, write reports of findings, provide classification training and prepare evaluations.
- →You will prepare responses to external program review findings and recommendations regarding sensitive issues.
- →You will locate, interpret, analyze, and apply Position Classification Standards and Guides.
- →You will develop, modify, conduct, and/or oversee the presentation of formal training in classification, position management, and desk audits.
- →You will provide guidance and instruction to managers and junior specialists unfamiliar with complex classification issues.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-11 Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if relatedA transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
