Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Enterprise Services, Office of Human Resources Management, Mission Support Division, located in Washington, D.C. Additional selections may be made beyond the total number of vacancies specified using this vacancy announcement. Further selections may also be made for additional organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →In this position, you will provide expert technical guidance and assistance to all levels of HRM management on specialized training initiatives tailored to the unique technical missions and programs within HRM directorates and divisions.
- →This position starts at a salary of $102,415.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $133,142.00 (GS-12, Step 10) with promotion potential to $158,322 (GS-13 Step 10).

- →Typical duties include: Independently developing, delivering, and coordinating human resources workforce training and career development programs tailored to organizational needs.
- →Identifying HR training needs through skills gap analyses, employee surveys, and performance data, and creating training plans with measurable objectives.
- →Designing and presenting engaging training for HR personnel using classroom, online, and on-the-job instructional methods.
- →Assisting in managing the HR training budget, tracking expenditures, and analyzing the effectiveness and return on investment of training initiatives.
- →Providing technical guidance to management and staff on HR training policies, best practices, and resolves routine training-related issues.
