You will serve as a Human Resources Officer (Satelite Manager) for the Secretary of Navy Offices (SECNAV), Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR), Overseas Program Center (OPC), Human Resources Office (HRO) Guam. What You'll Do
- →You will provide Civilian Human Resources (HR) services through the efforts of a HR staff engaged in such functions as recruitment, placement, employee training/ development, employee relations, labor relations, and performance.
- →You will recommend innovative methods and strategies to resolve problems of job turnover, long- and short-term workforce planning, rightsizing, and reinvention initiatives while ensuring the correctness and appropriateness of actions taken.
- →You will review proposed/final solutions to difficult and complex problems associated with providing comprehensive civilian HR advice, including hard-to-fill positions.
- →You will recommend proposed regulatory changes and executes implementation strategies of new policies.
- →You will represent Commanders and activity heads as the principal point of contact for negotiating or conducting business with employee organizations under current labor management relations guidelines.
- →You will plan, organize, direct, coordinate review and evaluate work of personnel specialist and support personnel.
