THIS IS AN INDIANA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is in the Excepted Service under the authority of Title V, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA) This position is part of the IN JFHQ IN HR, Indiana National Guard under Position Description Number PD# T5026P01. What You'll Do
- →Manages full-time manpower requirements for the State.
- →Reviews requests for personnel and position actions to determine impact on position classification and position management matters.
- →Advises managers and supervisors on classification, position management, and organization design.
- →Explains the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) standards, classification decisions, impact of designated duties on classification, and complaint and appeal procedures to employees, supervisors, and management officials or managers.
- →May carry out work contributing to special projects to assess the effectiveness of and provide recommendations to improve the classification and/or position management function and processes.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
- ✓You may combine education with specialized experience to meet the length of experience requirement for GS-11.
- ✓Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the line of work.
