This position is located in the Environmental Management Services within the VA Western North Carolina Health Care System, Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC.
What You'll Do
- →The Housekeeping Aid Lead is responsible for leading and overseeing the duties of Housekeeping Aids in the performance of housekeeping related services in the various areas of the medical center.
- →Work Schedule: Shift may vary based on the need of the Service and Organization.
- →Will include weekend days.
- →Position Description Title/PD#: Housekeeping Aid (Leader)/PD999913S Recruitment/Relocation Incentive: 25% of salary with 1 year commitment.
- →Physical Requirements: The work performed requires walking, standing, stooping, stretching, and lifting.
- →Physical effort is required when performing housekeeping duties, operating equipment, during training sessions, or in emergency situations.
- →Work is performed in all areas of the medical center.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
