About the Position: Serves as a Health Educator, providing health education to improve health behaviors and using evaluation tools to measure changes in support of the Wellness Center program.
What You'll Do
- →Conducts physical fitness testing and comprehensive health and wellness assessments.
- →Conducts biometric screening and utilizes appropriate screening tools to determine exercise testing readiness.
- →Provide health coaching and health education in various group settings to the general population on health promotion programs such as physical fitness, healthy nutrition, general wellness education, and stress management.
- →Utilize computer systems and applications to input, verify, and prepare health promotion related information.
- →Evaluate new approaches and techniques to take into account their potential effects on individuals, workplaces, and community health.
- →Maintain proficiency in approved standard operating procedures on health assessment review, healthy nutrition, and physical fitness to promote health education programs, primary prevention, and behavior change.
