About the Role
You will serve as a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the Supply Department ofPEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF . What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for material support required for supply and handling from job planning to job execution.
- →You will have control of the supply and distribution of Pre-Positioned Retail Material which may include hazardous material.
- →You will monitor and maintain PPRM material usage and workforce demand patterns to recommend restock amounts and recommend changes to range/depth of inventory.
- →You will manage and ensure proper stock levels and balances are maintained and ensures low stock items are on order to avoid the unavailability of essential inventory items.
- →You will establish material expediting procedures, receive and process order cancellations, provide status updates and modified, and follow up on material receipts and resolve unfilled orders.
- →You will develop and implement standard operating procedures, desk guides, instructions, qualification cards, strategies, etc.
- →You will provide authoritative advice and recommendations on approved alternate sources of supply in efforts to provide material support for specific projects, work operations, and/or programs.
- →You will investigate, coordinate, and process requisitions requiring corrective actions to allow for them to properly flow through automated systems.
- →You will elevate unresolved, difficult, or complex order management problems to upper management.
