You will serve as a Financial Technician in the Financial Management Division of COMMANDER NAVY REGION MARIANAS. A post allowance amount, (otherwise known as: COLA), of 11.88% will be added to the stated salary. Post allowance is subject to change at any time. For additional information, please refer to the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Chapter 5 Part B.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform account maintenance and accounting support work requiring a basic understanding of accounting systems, policies and procedures to examine, verify and maintain and reconcile accounts and accounting data.
- →You will determine pay, maintain timekeeping records and complete reports pertaining to civilian appropriated fund employees of the Federal Government.
- →You will answer requests and provide advice to employees, supervisors, financial and personnel specialists on timekeeping rules, regulations, and procedures.
- →You will perform specialized work consisting of examination of documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation, compliance with regulations for goods and services provided to or by the Government.
