You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the CORRECTION AND PROGRAMS OFFICE of NAVCONBRIG MIRAMAR DET PEARL HARBOR.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform technical in support of receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and custody of cash items.
- →You will provide financial management accounting for deposits, withdraws, reconciliation, and security of commingled military correctional facility (MFC) prisoner personal fund accounts.
- →You will perform as liaison officer for the brig when dealing with Personnel Support Detachment on matters involving the prisoner's pay when problems or errors arise.
- →You will create and maintain accurate records detailing all transactions involving prisoner funds and valuables.
- →You will identify discrepancies in the accounting systems and research, recommend, and perform the proper corrections for noted discrepancies.
