About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at Fort Meade, MD.
What You'll Do
- →Formulate integrated, multi-appropriation budget submissions (e.g., BES, PB) to align command resources with DoW and national strategic guidance.
- →Produce comprehensive budget justification documentation (e.g., reclamas, exhibits) to secure funding and address Congressional and Joint Staff inquiries.
- →Analyze emerging legislative and policy directives to forecast resource impacts and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
- →Consolidate complex, command-wide budget inputs to evaluate operational trade-offs and produce balanced, multi-year funding plans.
- →Execute advanced financial data analytics (e.g., data mining, trend analysis) to defend estimates and resolve systemic program vulnerabilities.
- →Defend strategic, command-level budget positions during high-stakes reviews with OSW, Joint Staff, and Service Components.
