What You'll Do
- →As a(n) Epidemiologist, you will: Serves as a national or internationally recognized consultant and expert on epidemiological issues on critical problems in the field of epidemiology.
- →Identifies and analyzes public health issues and their impact on public policies or epidemiological studies or surveys.
- →Designs, plans, and initiates epidemiologic studies, surveys, and investigations.
- →Evaluates data collection, quality control, and data utilization methods used to study epidemiological problems and issues.
- →Provides advice and assistance for the development of contracts, grants, or cooperative agreements for professional, laboratory, or other services pertinent to the program, project, or study.
- →Prepares statements of work, participates in technical review panels for contract proposals, and oversees contracts and cooperative agreements to ensure quality assurance and quality control.
