You will serve as a ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the Fleet Environmental Program Department of COMNAVREGSW SDIEGO.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as principal environmental National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) planner to the Regional Commander and Installation Commanding Officer for fleet operations and training.
- →You will provide regional policy and recommendations to modify existing policy for the environmental planning of fleet operations and training.
- →You will review environmental documentation prepared pursuant to NEPA (e.g., Notices of intent, environmental assessments, environmental impact statements, records of decisions) as assigned.
- →You will coordinate with various tenant commands and DoD entities to understand training requirements to best support planning of training and operations for near term and long term.
- →You will discuss, negotiate, and develop agreements for mutually satisfactory NEPA compliance actions.
