You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the FACILITIES DEPARTMENT (N441) of NAVAL OCEAN PROCESS FACILITY DAM NECK.
What You'll Do
- →You will demonstrate a solid baseline of technical and operational capabilities.
- →You will perform routine physical inspections, conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC and UPS systems, and troubleshoot standard electrical and mechanical failures using established manufacturer manuals.
- →You will document equipment issues in standard CASREPs, follow general OSHA, Navy safety, and environmental guidelines, and use appropriate personal protective equipment in hazardous environments.
- →You will monitor day to day contractor tasks for contract compliance, interpreting standard engineering drawings and schematics, and coordinating basic maintenance schedules and work requests.
