This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This vacancy is Engineering Technician position, GS-0802-07/08/09 with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Little Rock District located at Little Rock, Arkansas. This position will be filled at either GS-07, GS-08 or GS-09 grade level.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform engineering assignments by applying and adapting engineering methods and precedents.
- →You will utilize CADD systems to create, modify, and manage complex project drawings within established guidelines which ensure final plans provide all necessary construction details.
- →You will gather, assemble, and edit contract specifications.
- →You will coordinate with design engineers to proofread technical documents for timely completion of assignments.
- →You will make necessary computations which include reviewing design criteria to ensure pertinent data is reflected in final drawings,
