You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NUCLEAR) in the Nuclear Quality Division of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform in-depth radiological controls assessments, audits, and surveillances of Shipyard departments to ensure that they are maintaining standards and conforming to NAVSEA requirements.
- →You will develop and continuously refining functional in-depth audit plans requiring coordination with different Shipyard departments.
- →You will conduct analysis of radiological deficiency reports, team learning sessions, incident reports, and other periodic reports for the purpose of identifying trends and underlying causes to problems.
- →You will perform reviews of Radiological Controls procedures, Nuclear Power Manuals and Engineering Technical instructions.
- →You will identify conflicting instructions or inadequate instructions, development of recommendations to correct deficiencies and preparation of reports.
