You will serve as a Engineering Technician (Nuclear) in the Nuclear Engineering Training Branch (2301.3) under the Assistant Nuclear Engineering and Planning Manager (2301), Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (2300) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will independently plan, organize and accomplish complex engineering technical projects in support of an effective nuclear engineer training program.
- →You will serve as a consultant to shipyard management and other organizations inside and outside of the shipyard.
- →You will develop, arrange and moderate seminars and conferences including conducting formal and informal classroom training and lectures on broad to detailed subject matter areas within the specialization.
- →You will be responsible for adhering to the concepts, work practices, policies, and philosophy of naval nuclear work.
