You will serve as an ENIGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NUCLEAR) in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department of PSNS and IMF.
What You'll Do
- →You will develop process improvement that improve reliability, safety, workflow, cost, and schedule performance.
- →You will work independently, or act as lead for a team of engineering technicians and engineers.
- →You will observe execution of nuclear work and provide on-site technical support.
- →You will prepare quality and detailed written technical direction to accomplish nuclear work from cradle to grave.
- →You will evaluate critical attributes of assigned nuclear work and perform risk assessments.
- →You will contact planning yards, prime contractors, or other technical authorities and proposed alternative methods of solutions, if requirements cannot be met.
- →You will research and review source documents, engineering drawings, manuals, references, databases, guidelines instructions, regulation, standards, and other technical information to verify status and requirements.
