This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a PERMANENT position as an Engineering Technician (Mechanical) with the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Jackson, SC.
What You'll Do
- →Develop detailed statement of work, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for work to be accomplished by construction contracts.
- →Develop preliminary and final design plans using Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawing and analysis systems.
- →Receive assignments in the form of a work request or through automated systems for project development.
- →Review all engineering drawings, plans, specifications, standards, regulations and other applicable references.
