This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base/Major Range and Test Facilities Base Civilian Personnel Workforce (DIB and MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. What You'll Do
- →Troubleshoot production equipment to resolve mechanical issues and ensure reliable operation.
- →Oversee mechanical repair and modification work to ensure conformance with established plans, specifications, and performance standards.
- →Conduct studies on new or modified mechanical equipment to evaluate design approaches, test results, and necessary improvements.
- →Perform tests on plant processes and mechanical equipment to verify performance and determine characteristics, limitations, and root causes of failures.
