This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Supervises construction projects to ensure heating, cooling, and water systems are properly installed and meet quality standards. Assigns work, monitors progress, addresses problems, and reviews completed work for accuracy and sound judgment.
What You'll Do
- →Design and review heating, cooling, ventilation, and fire protection systems.
- →Solve complex problems and recommend practical solutions for projects.
- →Review designs, plans, and specifications to ensure they meet requirements.
- →Develop cost estimates for construction projects, including materials and labor.
- →Inspect construction work, identify issues, and ensure installations meet contract requirements.
