About the Role

You will serve as an Engineering Technician (Drafting) in the Design Division, Planning, Design and Construction Directorate of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

What You'll Do

→You will provide advice, solutions and assist the design and/or construction lead engineer on technical issues.
→You will support designs for existing facilities requiring extensive alterations, modifications, or repair.
→You will provide design and other technical support to NAVFAC MIDLANT and the commands served.
→You will prepare technical specifications and detailed labor and material cost estimates for use in obtaining project funding and bid for evaluation.
→You will prepare scopes of work and man-hour estimates for in-house work.
