You will serve as an Engineering Technician in the Facilities Division (Code 701) of the Fuels Department of Commander, Navy Installation Command, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
What You'll Do
- →You will provide administration and surveillance on a variety of service, maintenance, and repair contracts.
- →You will prepare cost allocation to tenant activities for recurring maintenance and services performed under service contract.
- →You will review plans and designs, and analyze drawings, specifications, maintenance records and other sources and make recommendations for repairs and maintenance of facilities.
- →You will maintain various automated databases to track actions, close out accounts, document contractor performance, document recommendations for changes, and to document facility maintenance and repair cost records.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following Basic Requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess: you have successfully completed two full years of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled.
- ✓OR you have successfully completed a master's degree that is directly related to the position being filled.
- ✓OR you have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equals one year of experience.
