About the position: This recruitment is for a Senior Electrical Engineer to serve as the District's technical expert in electrical engineering and team lead for a major design program.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the electrical engineering technical expert, consultant and advisor for the application of US and Host Nation criteria, codes and standards.
- →Design and/or review the entire range of military construction projects in his/her discipline / functional area.
- →Ensure that customers get maximum value and that design and engineering problems are resolved.
- →Resolves design and/or construction problems of a critical or controversial nature.
- →Review and/or evaluate work for quality, timeliness and cost and initiates action for improvement.
- →Develop new approaches or methods for design and construction for cost savings through value engineering.
- →Provide advice concerning technical matters and on particularly complex problems where policy or relationships with outside agencies are involved.
- →Conduct design reviews for electrical and comms infrastructure at all submittal levels to ensure cybersecurity features described in the related UFC is included in the designs.
