About the Position: Serves as an Electrical Engineer for Tripler Army Medical Center, Department of Logistics. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for managing the efficient and effective coordination and execution of planning, scoping, development, design, construction, and overall direction of major projects.
- →Serve as the expert on electrical engineering design, reviewing and coordinating electrical systems to ensure they meet project requirements.
- →Conduct field visits to gather data, perform assessments, and assist with troubleshooting for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, security, and communication systems.
- →Apply extensive knowledge of management concepts, principles, methods, and practices, as well as a strong understanding of the methods, practices, and processes used in engineering and scientific disciplines.
- →Provide guidance on electrical design for projects including power, lighting, security, and communication systems.
- →Serve as Project Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects throughout the Medical Center’s area of operation.
- →Advise on complex electrical design issues, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensures quality control for electrical work.
- →Coordinate the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, environmental restoration, and related activities for engineering projects.
- →Participate in design review meetings to offer technical advice and resolve electrical design issues.
- →Manage the construction and site preparation associated with the Capital Expense Equipment Program (CEEP) and the Medical Capital Expense Program (MEDCASE).
