What You'll Do
- →Serves as a principal designer in the preparation of specifications to meet project needs concerning electrical projects.
- →Obtains information from jobsites for comparing interfaces with other equipment.
- →Reviews contractor's submitted work for technical compliance with specification requirements Coordinates with related work in other organizational units or outside agencies.
- →Participates in work site inspections to ascertain conditions, identify problems related to assigned work, and establish workable solutions.
- →Reviews designs and cost estimates related to regional programs or facilities prepared by consultants or other agencies for acceptability, conformance to appropriate standards, policies, legal requirements, and cost effectiveness.
- →Prepares schedules for design processes and estimates schedules for the project construction phase.
- →Performs cost estimates for all project phases to include: feasibility, concept, design, procurement, and construction.
Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or U.S.
- ✓You must be suitable for federal employment, determined by a background investigation.

- ✓You must maintain a valid State Driver's License at all times as the position requires operation of government vehicles on government and public roads.
- ✓Failure to maintain a valid State Driver's License at all times will result in removal from the position.
- ✓You will be required to obtain a successful pre-employment physical examination by a licensed physician certifying your ability to perform the duties of this position.
- ✓A physical exam may not be required if a comparable agency approved examination was performed within the last 12 months.
- ✓The cost of the exam will be reimbursed by the agency.
- ✓Continue to the Additional Information section for the Condition of Employment For Probationary Period.
- ✓Who May Apply: Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP) Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP) This position does not allow substituting education for experience.
