About the Position: Serves as an Education Training Technician. Supports, plans, implements, administers, and coordinates education and training activities for the organization. Provides input of Education and Training policy execution as it pertains to the promotion of clinical and organizational-wide competency, currency, and professional development of all organizational personnel (military members, Department of Defense civilian employees, contractors, and/or volunteers).
What You'll Do
- →Provides input, direction, and recommendation on the organization's Education and Training initiatives Advises individuals on availability of basic skills education and course selections.
- →Provides advice and enrollment assistance on all educational services available on the installation, through distance education, or in the local community.
- →Assists personnel in all phases of the application process including coordination with appropriate installation, staff agencies, and higher headquarters.
- →Serves as liaison between applicant and appropriate organizations to establish training agreements.
- →Prepares and conducts briefings for groups or units to promote education and orientation programs.
- →Authors, edits, and distributes base brochures.
- →Performs a variety of duties involving reports, testing, and special projects
