About the Role
The incumbent serves as a developmental "Training Specialist" and is assigned to the Education Service and under the direction of an Education Service supervisor at the Montgomery VA Medical Center. The incumbent functions as a critical resource for employees, trainees and to leadership on broad range of educational topics.
What You'll Do
- →The responsibilities for this position involve daily use of VA's Talent Management System (TMS) and include, but are not limited to, the task listed below.
- →Review, analyze and evaluate TMS training courses and programs to assess their quality and effectiveness.
- →Assist with New Employee Orientation activities as assigned Performs duties as an Education Service Contracting Officer Representative Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
- →Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm; An occasional change in tour of duty may be required based on agency needs.
