This position is in a residential treatment center known as Youth Regional Treatment Center (YRTC) within the Great Plains Area. The purpose of the position is to provide educational support services to the Native American youth diagnosed as substance dependent. Assisting the teacher(s) in instructional programs and classroom learning and activities. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Utilizes all available resources to provide for academic achievement.
- →Maintains an environment that promotes learning and progress.
- →Prepare instructional materials related to class lessons or bulletin boards by gathering graphics and simple concepts from websites, teacher or personal folders of previously used illustrations.
- →Assisting with implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 plans, or Response to Intervention (RTI) plans and Technology Integration.
- →Promotes a positive relationship between the home school and community, and provides educational feedback to parents/guardians, primary counselors, and other staff as appropriate.
Requirements
