About the Role
You will serve as a DRUG DEMAND REDUCTION PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the Manpower & Reserve Affairs Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
What You'll Do
- →You will analyze illicit, synthetic drugs, and misuse and abuse of prescription drugs programs and policies and recommends changes or improvements in methods and procedures.
- →You will review, research, and benchmark emerging trends within the DDR program.
- →You will Produces monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc repo1is of drug use related trends and data.
- →You will write, modify, edit, and/or present statistical reports prepared based on the data collected and provide professional advice and consultation.
- →You will contribute to the planning and implementation of conferences and other events.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess.
- ✓Basic Requirements: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
- ✓OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
- ✓OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
- ✓GS-11: 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
