What You'll Do
- →Such advice includes the analysis and prioritization of program requirements, budget and resource allocation, policies, directives, legislation from Congress, 0MB, DoW, the Director of National Intelligence, other national and defense agencies, which prescribe or affect Army intelligence resources.
- →Oversights, manages and advocates for more than $4 billion annually, directly impacting roughly 61,000 MI personnel, both military and civilian, and the intel mission.
- →Manages the resource planning, programming, budget formulation and submission, budget execution, and internal review functions for the Military Intelligence Program, the National Intelligence Program and Intel related Security Programs.
- →Responsible for evaluating proposed resource strategies and financial policies developed by the Department of the Army Staff, DIA, NSA, NGA, JCS, OSW, DNI, the NSC, and recommends positions for the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2 and the Army.
- →Provides direction, coordination, and oversight of Risk Management Internal Control Program, Defense Intelligence Counterintelligence Expense/Intelligence Contingency Funds Program, Manpower and Force Structure related to Intel formations and organizations, Intelligence Oversight, and Intel related Audits.
- →The incumbent is the Army's SME in the establishment procedures and the protection of classified accounting system.
Requirements
- ✓CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT This is designated as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 3 Certified position.
- ✓Selectee may be required to successfully complete a polygraph examination.
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓You will be required to provide proof of U.S.
- ✓Citizenship.
- ✓Two year trial period may be required.
- ✓You will serve a two-year probationary period unless you have previously completed the probationary period as a DISES.
- ✓You must sign a mobility agreement.
- ✓Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- ✓If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
- ✓You must be able to submit and pass designated and/or Random Drug Testing as required.
- ✓File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report OGE-278e within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on.
- ✓Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
- ✓You must be able to obtain/maintain the appropriate clearance and access level for this position.
