This position is part of the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board. The incumbent will be responsible for all financial management programs and related operations to establish more effective general and financial management practices; improve the system of accounting, financial management and internal controls; and provide to produce complete, reliable, timely and consistent financial information for the use by management, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and Congress.
What You'll Do
- →Oversees the preparation for and the conduct and completion of the annual financial statement audit.
- →Prepares the annual financial statements and footnotes, ensures timely and accurate reporting pursuant to Congressional and OMB mandates, and related laws, rules, and regulations; responds to requests from the Inspector General auditors.
Requirements
- ✓US Citizenship is required.
- ✓Suitable for Federal employment, determined by background investigation.
- ✓Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- ✓Direct Deposit of pay is required.
- ✓Selective Service registration required for male applicants, unless exempt.
- ✓Status candidates must meet time-in-grade (see Qualifications).
