The Dental Laboratory Technician position is located at the John D Dingell VA Medical Center Detroit, MI - a Level 1b Complexity VHA Facility, in the Dental Service. The position is responsible for technical work in the fabrication and repair of dental prosthetic appliances on prescription of a dentist. This work requires a technical knowledge of dental anatomy and skill in the use of dental laboratory materials and equipment.

- ✓Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 Physical Requirements: The work involves sitting for extended periods, stooping, bending, and constant use of detail vision under bright illumination.

- ✓Above-average dexterity and above-average grip strength are necessary.
- ✓Work of short durations in the proximity of high dry heat, hot steam, and or unpleasant orders is necessary.
