You will serve as a DENTAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN in the BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY of NAV POSTGRADUATE DENTAL SCHOOL.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible to operate and maintain the laboratory porcelain ovens, vacuum investing equipment, burnout ovens, centrifugal metal casting machines, CAD computers, milling machines, 3D printers and related fixed Prosthodontic lab equipment.
- →You will design and fabricate complex fixed and removable prostheses (including implant prostheses) demonstrating mastery of both traditional and Computer-Aided-Design (CAD)/Computer-Aided-Manufacturing (CAM) methods.
- →You will design and present highly technical, advanced dental laboratory technique courses to technicians and prosthodontic resident dental officers.
- →You will serve as the fixed prosthodontics technical expert, technician and instructor.
- →You will plan and organize work schedule and production deadlines for the Fixed Prosthodontics Section.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: Two and a half full years of graduate education OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of specialized experience.
